Bedding system
For the optimal distribution of bedding in cattle and pig housing

Functional description
Intake takes place via a buffer tank (Fig. 1) with an auger (Fig. 3), which transports the bedding material to the tube chain conveyor (Fig. 4).
The conveyor pipes (Fig. 5) are installed above the areas to be bedded. The bedding falls into the cubicles through downpipes (Fig. 5) that end just above the floor. These downpipes serve as buffer pipes for the material. As soon as one pipe is full, the material is conveyed to the next downpipe. In this way, all cubicles are filled one after the other. Several conveyor lines (Fig. 6) can be connected to one another via transitions.
The key benefits
- Central intake
- Buffer tank at the intake
- The intake is usually located in front of the barn or in an outbuilding. This means you do not always have to drive in and out of the barn when loading the system.
- More peace and quiet in the barn, as no driving or maneuvering is necessary in the animal area
- Flexible timing and no additional labor required, as the intake can be filled at any time
- No mobile bedding box required
- Ideal for robotic barns, as not all cubicles are always empty when new bedding is introduced
- Low-dust distribution of bedding, as the material is distributed gently from the downpipes
- Stock quantity in the barn area through buffering in the downpipes
- Simple distribution at the end of the downpipes, largely performed independently by the animals
- Low-maintenance
