Functional description
The KA type grinding and mixing combination is a combination of a high-performance hammer mill 4 and a vertical mixer 5. Both components can be started via the electrical control system 1.
The material to be ground is fed via the large inlet hopper 2, either by hand or by any conveying system. The feed to the hammer mill can be adjusted continuously via a manual slide gate. The integrated magnetic separator 3 in the inlet captures metal parts that could damage the beaters and screens.
The ground product is conveyed directly from the hammer mill 4 into the mixer 5, without any additional conveying system. Via the bottom intake 6, additional products can be fed directly into the mixer 5. A slide gate for sample taking 7 is also located here.
The mixing auger 8 ensures fast, high-quality mixing. After the mixing time has elapsed, the unit can be discharged via the side outlet 9 with a manual shut-off flap. For precise quantity control, the system can optionally be equipped with a weighing system.
